World leader in Data Erasure and Destruction

Automatic Hard Drive Degausser – DataGone

High Energy, Automatic Hard Disk Drive and Backup Tape Degausser

  • High Volume
  • 200 HDD per hour
  • 8 second gauss time

For fast and failsafe erasure of large volumes of hard disk drives and back up tapes, the DataGone degausser delivers. It’s automatic operation and powerful magnetic field provides sanitization of hard drives in just 8 seconds which means you can achieve complete erasure of 200 hard drives or back up tapes every hour.

The DataGone is also available with our unique Data Destruction Auditor via the DataGone LG model, which enables you to document and verify your hard drive sanitization/erasure and create data protection audit-ready reports.

Media Handing:

Degausses all standard hard drives & back up tapes. Erase Hard Drives at the click of a button.

Erase Time:

8 seconds typ.

Magnetic Force:

10,000 Gauss

Throughput:

200 hard drives/back-up tapes per hour

The DataGone is a fully automatic, table top mounted degausser.  Sliding the media into the aperture on the left hand side of the unit automatically starts the degauss cycle. When complete, the media is released and exits from the DataGone on the right hand side. The entire procedure takes just 8 seconds from start to finish.

Throughout the degauss cycle, the on-board processor monitors the procedure and progress messages are displayed on the LCD panel. If the degauss cycle is interrupted for any reason such as power loss or any fault condition, the media is retained in the DataGone and the operator is immediately alerted to the interruption on the LCD panel. When security is of the upmost importance the DataGone’s failsafe operation should be your degausser of choice.

Transportation Case: An optional heavy-duty transportation case with wheels is available for the DataGone, enabling you to safely transfer your degausser by road or air, ideal if you have a requirement to erase media at multiple locations.

The DataGone comes with a 12 month back to base, all parts and labor included warranty. Extended warranties also available. We are so confident in our product build quality, that whether you opt for an extended warranty or not, our factory-based technical support team are available for free phone and email support. This support extends for the entire lifetime of ownership.

The DataGone is designed to help you comply with the following Government Mandates that require destruction of sensitive information stored on Hard Drives and Backup Tapes before their disposal.

  • PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry) Data Security Standard
  • PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)
  • NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Guidelines for Media Sanitization NIST SP 800-88

Manual Hard Drive Degausser – V91 Max

Manual Hard Drive Degausser and Operated Backup Tape

  • Low Volume
  • 20 HDD / 40 Back-Up Tapes per hour
  • 12 second gauss time

The V91 HDD Max manual hard drive degausser is a second generation, high energy degausser for Hard Drive Destruction, especially designed for the cost effective, complete erasure of data from today’s high coercivity hard drives and tapes. With a 7000 gauss field, complete erasure is assured every time in as little as 12 seconds per hard drive or back-up tape.

The V91 HDD Max manual hard drive degausser is the ideal hard drive degausser for the low volume operator who wishes to have an effective yet low budget solution to eliminate magnetic media security risks and total Hard Drive Destruction

Media Handing:

Degausses all standard hard drives & all backup tapes

Erase Time:

12 seconds typ.

Magnetic Force:

7,000 Gauss

Throughput:

20 hard drives/40 back-up tapes per hour

The V91 HDD Max is simple to use.

For erasing Hard Drives the operator turns the security key to the “On” position and places the media on the top surface of the degausser. Pressing the red “Power” button turns on the magnetic field and the media is held in place for 3-5 seconds. Pressing the “Power” button turns off the magnetic field. The operator should then rotate the media 90° on the top of the degausser and repeat the process by applying the magnetic field for another 3-5 seconds. The media should then be flipped over and the process repeated making 4 degauss cycles in total. On completion of the fourth cycle , the media will be completely erased.

Transportation Case: An optional heavy-duty transportation case with wheels is available for the V91 Max, enabling you to safely transfer your degausser by road or air, ideal if you have a requirement to erase media at multiple locations.

The V91 HDD Max comes with an impressive 36 month back to base, all parts and labor included warranty. Extended warranties also available. We are so confident in our product build quality that whether you opt for an extended warranty or not, our factory-based technical support team are available for free phone and email support. This support extends for the entire lifetime of ownership.
